Membership in the Essex Land Trust is open to all – individuals, families, and organizations. Family Memberships apply to an entire household.

Join our more than 460 members and corporate supporters who share your love of the Essex community and want to preserve its charm and special character. Membership dollars and donations are needed to support property stewardship and other land trust expenses.

Membership Levels

• Hiker: $35
• Trekker: $75
• Adventurer: $150
• Explorer: $500
• Conservator for Life: $1500 – A Conservator for Life membership designation is a one-time donation and is commemorated with the member’s name being installed on the Conservators’ Rock, located at the Cross Lots preserve.

In line with our education mission, new members receive a welcome package that includes:

• A Town of Essex Open Space map

• The full color Thatchbed Island and Its Ospreys booklet
• Several additional informative and educational brochures

In addition, all members and donors receive our Woods & Waters newsletter, published three times a year, an invitation to attend our annual meeting, and acknowledgement in our Annual Report.
